Purpose of the role
The City Futures directorate focuses on developing our strategy to ensure sustainable and responsible planning and development for all aspects of our City.
We are currently looking for motivated, service-driven Administrative Officer to join the Customer Experience Team to provide high quality support services and facilitate the operational day-to-day running of the business unit.
Reporting to the Manager of Development Services, this position will provide leadership to a team in the delivery of administrative services to facilitate the operations of the Business Unit with Council procedures.
The role will be required to:
- Allocate and monitor the work of a team to deliver service within expected timeframes.
- Implement processes and procedures to optimise efficient service delivery to the Business Unit and to enhance administrative practices, systems and procedures.
- Oversee the coordination of administrative services including organisation of unit resource needs, preparation of correspondence and development consents and reports, attendance recording and effective unit records management practices to meet customer needs.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be highly organised, self-managed and solution focussed with a strong commitment to customer service. You will also have proven administrative experience and competency in the use of core office software and systems including Microsoft Suite of applications. Experience and strong competency in the use of Local Government Software including Pathway CRM, Technology One, Info-Council and Content Manager is highly desired.
