Supermarket Store Manager Required Across Sydney Metro & Blaxland

The Karellas Group is a fast growing, independent, family owned Supermarket business trading under the Supa IGA/Supamart banner. Currently operating Supermarkets in six, soon to be seven, locations across metropolitan Sydney.

Our Supermarket Store Managers play an integral role in our overall success.  As a result of our ongoing success & expansion, we currently have an opportunity within our growing business. Some flexibility on location is highly sought after.

To be suitable for this role you must:

  • be passionate about customer service and maintaining high standards;
  • be a proven leader who is driven to provide your teams a supportive, encouraging, safe and positive team based working environment;
  • have sound and proven experience in the retail sector;
  • have demonstrated history in performing to targets, working with budgets and maintaining supermarket best practice; and
  • possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships.

You responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • all day to day operational matters in running and presenting the store;
  • building and maintaining a team with a positive, performance based culture within the store;
  • team training and development;
  • inventory ordering and management, including minimising waste and shrinkage;
  • rostering and various employee services;
  • maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for both workers and customers;
  • overseeing customer service standards;
  • meeting operational and financial key performance indicators;
  • ongoing performance improvement; and
  • engagement with your local community.
