The Position

The position is full time working from either our Surrey Hills or Preston depot, with the benefits of on site and external training, leave entitlements and allowances.  You will be operating our suite of stump grinders.  You will possess the professionalism and ability to work with crews and autonomously within the residential environment as well as Council contracts and various large commercial sites.  The position will suit a mature person that is self motivated with mechanical aptitude that takes pride in their work.   

All equipment is serviced by our in-house Mechanic and is compliant with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.  

The following qualifications would be highly regarded:

• Current Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Driver's Licence
• Victorian Driver's Licence (manual)
• Any relevant industry tickets & experience
• Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate
• White Card
• A strong work ethic, initiative, reliability, good people skills and physical fitness
• Well-developed mechanical aptitude and skills
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Knowledge & appreciation of OH&S practice
