An opportunity is available for an experienced Sales Co-coordinator to join our team at our large wholesale plant nursery in Cornubia, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager & Business Manager, you will have a hands-on role, responsible for co-coordinating & performing, internal & external, sales & marketing functions with our sales & merchandising teams.
Ideally you would have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
The role could be carried out either as a permanent part time or full time.
The role of Sales Coordinator includes the following responsibilities:
Respond to incoming & outbound sales enquiries & perform merchandising & rep calls at our wholesale & retail clients.
Meet and exceed KPI's are sales targets by pro actively pursue new business and sales opportunities in existing & new markets.
Co-ordinate the daily activities of our sales and merchandising team & conduct regular B2B meetings with nursery staff & our merchandising & sales team.
Responsible for achieving continual productivity improvements in our sales & merchandising department while maintaining or improving systems, processes & customer service standards.
Compiling sales forecasts, objectives and targets, monitoring progress and ensuring their achievement.
Create, analyse and making recommendations on market research, competitor analysis, marketing metrics and business reports.
Create marketing & communication collateral for Tara Valley.
Work closely with key stakeholders within TVOPS to ensure the effective implementation of marketing plans.
Provide administration support for Sales, Dispatch, Marketing and Operational departments.
Organise and host marketing and community engagement events relevant to the business, such as education events and trade shows.
Conducting regular Availability/Inventory/Allocations walks to monitor & communicate stock quality & levels to relevant stake holders.
To be successful in this role you will be expected to demonstrate:
Previous experience across sales/marketing channels including online, phone, face to face, B2B, B2C.
Experience in executing sales & marketing plans for new products or distribution channels.
Strong leadership skills, as well as people and performance management experience.
Ability to plan, manage and co-ordinate a team to maximise and meet business objectives.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft office applications with accurate computer input skills.
