About the Role

The Customer Support Consultant will be responsible for answering inbound service and sales calls from a variety of customers and provide them with prompt, efficient, professional service regarding their insurance needs whilst achieving quality sales results. The Customer Support Consultant is pivotal to the business in ensuring that excellent quality service and sales results are achieved.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound service and sales calls from a variety of customers.
  • Service all aspects of a clients portfolio using the relevant system.
  • Quote clients using systems and apply sales tools to convert the quote.
  • Deliver quality service at all times.
  • Meet expected individual targets and contribute to business targets.
  • Ensure all compliance rules are followed at all times.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding and adhere to associated systems, processes and procedures.
  • Manage customer complaints timely and efficiently.
  • Ad hoc projects as set by the business from time to time.
  • Promote effective communication to team and managers.
  • Make outbound service calls as required.
  • Perform role with utmost integrity.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven capability to interact over the telephone in a clear and professional manner.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Experience within a quality-controlled working environment (i.e. verbal scripting and procedures).
  • Strong desire to help others achieve within a team environment.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to embrace change.
  • Passion for quality service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Drive, motivation and innovative thinking.
