An opportunity now exists for an experienced KAM: Hospital / Specialist Representative to join a dedicated team of sales professionals.
The role is based in Sydney.
The role would involve your ability to navigate the hospital system and develop sound business partnerships with key decision makers will be instrumental in you sales success. Target audience: Directors of Pharmacy, Heads of Department, NUM and consultants. You will be promoting an established portfolio of products along with newly listed therapy and additional indications over the next few years, this opportunity will appeal to those who are looking for a new challenge.
Your responsibility will be to establish and manage Contract & Tender activity in public & private hospitals, State Tender Authorities and key accounts on a State basis. With energy and drive you will Identify opportunities to assist in delivery of brand objectives, and drive & grow the Hospital business.
Drive and grow the business, assessing market conditions, commercial barriers and competitive landscape.
Develop and foster excellent professional and business relationships with target key customers.
Develop strategy and concise engagement plans for Key Accounts with clear objectives and activities to optimise usage and funding of the company products
Execute the Account plan and facilitate communications with all in-field functions interacting with the Key Account to ensure consistency.
Where appropriate, negotiate, close and sign deals and/or support or lead the contracting and tendering process and lead the development and delivery of proposals.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Tertiary qualification in a Business or healthcare fields.
Understanding of the pharmacy environment.
Experience in dealing with healthcare professionals
Superior phone and interpersonal skills with excellent customer service focus
Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, operations and supply chain will be highly regarded.
