Service Supervisor

An exciting opportunity to join a team as a Service Supervisor as a leader in the Australian commercial vehicle industry.

Ability to report directly to the Service Managery you would be a key to driving the team to success whilst providing exceptional service and value to an existing and developing customer base.

Requirements

Completed appropriate trade or management qualifications evidencing a focus on developing high performing teams

At least 5 years experience in the Heavy Vehicle or Engine related Business.

Demonstrated experience in developing and motivating a workforce.

Experience in understanding and interpreting business financial information.

Ability to understand and grasp technical product information.

Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships and developing sales strategies.

Experience in managing Budgets (Capital and Revenue).

Current Driver Licence


Ability

Ensure workloads are coordinated in order to meet clients requests on time.

Ensure that technical problems are resolved promptly and in line with customers expectations.

Involvement of the recruitment of employees for the Service Department.

Counsel, lead and provide employees with advice and guidance on their performance, career development and training opportunities. This includes but is not limited to the regular completion of target agreements with employees.

Develop the Service Teams in order to enhance the personal development of employees in order to improve performance and achieve further advancement within the Company.

Ensure that Work in Progress (WIP) is reviewed and managed effectively. This includes but is not limited to the immediate invoicing of completed jobs; development of prompt quotations for all service jobs; the accurate and efficient production of invoices and other documentation as required for but not limited to customers and Warranty Claims.

Approve purchases for the Service Department and ensure that accounts are accurate.

Be responsible for all assets and liabilities within the Service Department and ensure custody, control and maintenance procedures are followed.

Key Account relationship management with select customers as agreed with the Service Manager.
