We are seeking a HANDS ON Operations Coordinator / Hire Controller responsible for customer service, yard maintenance and monitoring the status of the fleet. This is a great opportunity to join the team in Sydney in a well-established rapidly growing business with excellent job security.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Handling customer enquiries
Convey information accurately and efficiently to the Brisbane Head Office
Ensuring all fleet units are serviced up to industry standard
Liaising with the Service Department to ensure all units undergoing repairs are handled in a timely manner
General cleaning and yard duties as required
Carry out minor repairs on equipment as required
Preform Pre Delivery Inspections and off hire maintenance to machinery.
Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
Required employee attributes:
Ability to work autonomously under pressure
Experience working in a heavy machinery yard
Accurate and efficient data entry
Ability to plan, schedule and meet deadlines
Understanding of distribution and logistics principles
Customer service orientated
