Our Brisbane team is now searching for a Pre Construction Manager with experience in Construction projects up to $150m in value. Our client is a tier 2 main contractor with extensive exposure to large scale and small scale commercial/ industrial and multi unit high rise projects. Think high end office fit out, then also think 54 Storey Hotels and Retirement Villages. They can do it all

Due to continued growth the company are now seeking someone with 10+ years commercial construction experience and demonstrable experience leading estimators, planners and tender coordinators to achieving big results by winning exciting projects.
To co-ordinate with the Heads of each department and drive the processes of designing the solution(s), estimating the costs and planning the implementation of projects in order to meet or exceed the customers requirements.
To recognise contractual, financial, technical and operational risks and to find opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit.
To implement policies & procedures and processes including those for SHE, pre-construction and risk management.
To promote the company values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectations, and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry.
Whilst overseeing the bid managers manage their own bids.
With Head of estimating propose and implement the preconstruction cost budget for project(s)
To develop and build relationships that support growth in the business unit
To implement the requirements of national and framework agreements
To win contracts whilst minimising risk and maximising gross profit
Key Skills and Requirements:
Degree in Construction Management or Equivalent
Expert communication skills both written and verbal expression
Strong influencing skills
Able to effectively lead/coordinate the workforce
Problem solver underpinned by sound construction knowledge and experience.
Proven track record in leading teams of estimators, planners and coordinators within commercial construction
Design; planning; project management or estimating qualification
