Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) is a not-for-profit primary health care organisation covering Sydney Local Health District and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Our vision is better health and wellbeing of the people who live and work in our region.
We are looking for an experienced engagement professional to lead our Engagement team. You will help us strengthen our engagement activity and build relationships with community organisations, local government, consumer and allied health peak bodies.
Develop and implement engagement plans for projects, programs and services provided by Central and Eastern Sydney PHN.
Liaise and collaborate with community organisations, councils, local health districts and networks on community engagement activities.
Build relationships with allied health peak bodies to promote greater allied health engagement with the PHN
Assist with organisation of major strategic and engagement events with both internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate the collection and analysis of information from community and stakeholder feedback to assist with future planning.
Team management (this role has one direct report)
High level community engagement skills including planning, communication (written and oral), presentation and facilitation knowledge.
Technical skills, knowledge and experience in the application of community engagement practices.
Proven experience in relationship building and management among stakeholders from diverse cultures, professions, ages and needs.
Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills to be able to engage stakeholders.
Ability to balance competing projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
Proven ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead staff
High level of initiative and can do attitude.
High level computer literacy across MS Office suite and other CRM based programs.
Experience in community services or the not-for-profit sector.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.
