Member Programs and Tournaments Officer

The Professional Golfers Association of Australia (PGA) is the preeminent national sporting body that represents more than 2800 members across Australia and abroad. Founded in 1911, the PGA conducts all professional tournaments, as well as provides training and education for professionals to grow and develop the game at all levels.

This is a newly created role that will be based at the PGAs WA office at Wembley golf course.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with and supporting the Members
  • Coordination and delivery of Pro-Ams
  • Attracting and retaining tournament and events
  • Assisting with the coordination of the CCA Invitational, PGA Professionals Championship and Scramble Regional Finals
  • Sponsorship acquisition and relationship management

 You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to manage your time proficiently and intermediate computer skills (MS Office).

This position will be offered on a full-time basis. A minimum of 5 years experience in an administration, member or events position is preferable.

The role will require some weekend work and travel during peak tournament periods.
