An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and qualified candidate to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for undertaking marketing, communications and media liaison functions for the Shire of Broome. This role is responsible for developing strategies and content for marketing the Shire of Broome, and its facilities and effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Person We Seek:
The preferred candidate will possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a proven level of computer literacy. In addition, you will be self-motivated with the ability to multi task and work in a team environment. With comprehensive media and public relations expertise and a flair for promotions, the desired person will have the ability to maintain and raise the profile of the Shire through the media.
Previous experience in a similar position or equivalent environment would be also be highly regarded.
