These positions will be based in Melbourne, Australia.
Delivery of complete selected design work, components of design and related technical activities to customers.
Utilise engineering tools optimally to increase work efficiency and develop efficient work practices.
Ensure technical reviews are carried out on a regular basis and high-quality design solutions are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with internal and external teams in delivering technically complete design solutions and support product specifications.
Manage technical risk mitigation, safety and value in design processes.
Present communication and delivery of technical literature and tools to customers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance of team to work safety regulations, polices & procedures and company culture.
Required Skills & Experience:
A Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience in Commercial Construction and/or Civil/Structural Design is desirable.
Good experience in concrete design and precast concrete
Strong leadership capabilities with ability to lead a team of engineering according to business direction and align work accordingly. Able to lead by example.
Strong desire to develop and manage teams with good problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate well cross-functionally and with key stakeholders. A team player.
Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
This is a more senior role in terms of experience and portfolio to manage.
Below are the responsibilities in addition to the listed responsibilities and skills above:
Minimum 6 years working experience in a Construction and Civil/Structural engineering environment with at least 2 years Consultancy experience.
Registered building practitioner or equivalent.
A chartered Professional Engineer (EA and/or ENZ approved) is a must.
