Kelly Services is seeking a hands-on, passionate Marketing Manager for an exciting opportunity located in Sydney with an Australian owned company that is passionate about sleep! The successful candidate will lead a creative small team to develop and implement compelling marketing products, transform marketing communications into projects and drive brand awareness to achieve business goals.
Ensure the presentation of the brand reflects the prescribed brand standards, across products, sales, advertising and all forms of branded collateral.
Work closely with external agencies to develop strategies to grow brand awareness and sales.
Manage relationships with external suppliers in line with set budgets.
Contribute to the development of channel-specific sales and marketing strategies and monitor execution with the sales teams.
Champion the voice of the consumer with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor competitor activity and benchmark for best practice.
Brief in-house graphic designers on POS requirements and other branded materials.
Manage work flow and priorities of in-house graphic designers and marketing coordinators.
Assist with the development and execution of the PR and media strategies and events.
Implement the brands digital communication strategy and oversee development of websites, social media and other digital communications.
Manage and develop the digital marketing coordinators.
Oversee showroom set up for customer presentations.
Coordinate the brands presentation at retail trade events, in conjunction with the Sales and Key Account Managers.
Assist Sales teams with preparation of presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Prezi) for customer meetings.
Assist Group Marketing Manager and Leadership team on ad hoc projects as required.
5+ years experience in marketing communications and/or marketing management.
Experience in managing and developing marketing coordinators, graphic designers and content creators.
Consumer and trade marketing experience.
Excellent organisational and project management skills; ability to quickly prioritise tasks for themselves and others.
Excellent content writing and copywriting skills, able to change styles to suit the audience.
Social media expert - develop and implement content across multiple channels to achieve marketing goals.
Excellent skills in MS Office, Prezi and Campaign Monitor.
Relevant qualifications or field experience in Marketing and/or Communications.
Ability to translate a request from a colleague or customer into the problem to be solved (or job to be done) and quickly find an appropriate solution.
Ability to write and deliver a clear brief to graphic designers and external agencies, and clearly and respectfully articulate feedback.
A team player that is not afraid to get in and do the hard work when required (e.g. setting up for customer presentations and shows).
Comfortable with being held to account and can confidently hold others to account.
