RPE QLD has a vacancy available for immediate start for a dynamic and experienced Office Manager. This full time position works closely with the Directors, Estimator & Project Managers.
RPE QLD are a well-respected commercial & industrial electrical contracting business based at Yatala and we have projects throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast areas.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous experience working in a construction environment & with tradesmen ideal
Simpro experience (minimum 5 years)
Excellent customer service & telephone manner
Ability to prioritise & handle competing tasks for key personnel
Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
Xero experience including payroll
Ability to manage all processes for accounts receivable & payable including reconciliations & debt collection
60 words per minute typing
Current drivers licence (parking is available)
Reception & first point of contact
Data entry for purchase orders and work orders & maintain projects in Simpro
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Sending monthly progress claims to clients
Follow up claim payments
Processing weekly payroll & other HR administration activities within Xero
Manage Retentions (Asset & Liability), Defect Liability Period Payments and reporting
Maintain compliance registers for licences, insurances & OHS
Create manuals for new projects including SWMS
Manage onboarding of apprentices & incentive payments
Assist Estimator with Take Offs
Create policies and procedures where required
A three month probationary period is applicable to this position.
