This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We are seeking a site based Contracts Administrator with experience working in Civil or Mining for our Iron ore Project in WA. As a Contracts Administrator you will be employed on a 2/1 Roster FIFO Perth.
This is an exciting role dedicated to assisting the onsite Commercial Manager. This is a Permanent fulltime position.
To be considered for this position as a Contracts Administrator you must possess the following as a minimum:
Tertiary Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Relevant experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar position in the Civil sector
Basic understanding of earthmoving plant
Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Accurate data entry skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
As a Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Efficient and effective management of the commercial and contractual activities on the project
Effective and consistent implementation of the company’s commercial policies
Directing and coordinating all cost engineering, cost reporting and forecasting
Preparation of monthly progress claims for work completed
Assisting in the preparation of request for quotations for subcontractors and supply items
Conduct negotiations with short listed subcontractors and supplier and arrange and supply contracts to be let
Preparation of progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers
Preparation and submission of monthly commercial report to company executives
