As our Video Producer/Editor, you’ll field briefs, organise end-to-end productions and manage the workflow of our videographer/photographer team. You’ll also crew on shoot and share editing duties with the team. When things get hectic, you’ll lean on your network of suppliers to help with the overflow.
Outputs include bite-size social videos, 2-minute long profiles, long form documentaries and still shoots. Our audiences range from prospective and current students to industry and staff, with a big focus on recruitment-related projects.
Reporting to the Marketing Production Manager, you’ll work closely with the wider creative team and clients from across the university.
This is you: • Have substantial experience in a production role in an ad agency, content agency or production house. • Have experience with handling a high volume of video/photo productions, both large and small. Can support videographers/photographers on shoot. • Have experience optimising outputs for web and mobile. • Have an infectious can-do attitude. Deftly assess jobs by business priority and schedule them accordingly, while maintaining relationships with clients (even the ones you’ve just said ‘no’ to!). • Are happy to work with clients to define or refine briefs. • Whether it’s a $100K, $10K or $0K production, you know what needs to be done to get a high quality result. • Have completed a degree/qualification in film, screen and media, advertising, marketing or similar.
