ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
JTMEC is looking for a WA Region Manager reporting to the Managing Director. This multi-functional role will require a leader with strong communication skills who is willing to take on driving the WA electrical business into the future.
This is a senior manager residential role based in Kalgoorlie where you will be responsible for the financial, people and client management within the WA region, as well as new business development. It is a busy hands-on operational role, providing expert advice and guidance to workshop and apprentice employees.
To be successful, you will have resilience, determination and a passion to deliver high quality service and product.
You will take on the full accountability of this Branch and the WA region. You will liaise with clients and suppliers to deliver and drive business outcomes and expansion. As the Branch Manager you will have the proven ability to set strategic goals, meet targets and manage your resources including your labour force to increase profitability and drive costs down. Driving for efficient results in operations, strict safety culture and people development will be your key to success.
You must be based in Kalgoorlie with at least 2 years' experience managing branch / regional operations in a similar environment, and have a proven track record in the successful management of financials, budgets and people.
Along with the relevant maintenance experience, you will also need to be able to demonstrate
an excellent understanding of mining and electrical standards;
excellent communication skills;
proven abilities with client liaison and business development;
experience with job costings and job management;
ability to pass ongoing medical and drug & alcohol testing;
a commitment to a ZERO harm culture;
current drivers licence;
