Senior Facilities Officer

Permanent Full-time Employment, Flexible Working Arrangements, 5 weeks paid leave & access to additional 2 weeks Accrued Days Off.

Salary/Level: Level 3, $69,896 - $75,717 pa, PSGOCSAGA

Location: Kununurra, Western Australia

Tenure: Permanent Full-time (To be eligible for appointment Australian Citizenship, relevant visa or permanent residency is required.)

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Facilities Officer who can provide effective and efficient business and administrative support to the Facilities Manager, Facilities Coordinator and Facilities team to achieve business goals.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating breakdown repairs, routine and preventative maintenance activities and minor works projects for the College
  • Coordinating a broad range of support functions across the scope of the Facilities Team operations
  • Developing and providing administrative processes to ensure relative statutory documents are maintained
  • Assisting in quality audits and compliance activities regarding purchasing, tendering, contracts and safety
  • Assisting in the maintenance of asset registers
  • Providing purchasing services and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparing and distributing monthly financial reports
  • Maintaining and managing Facilities schedules and calendars
  • Maintaining and managing Facilities network drives and information systems
  • Reviewing and maintaining facilities policies, procedures and compliance documents in conjunction with the Facilities Manager
  • Assisting with the coordination of the insurance activities of the College including claims processing
  • Coordinating the servicing and maintenance of fleet as required
