About the Role:
We are looking for an Inventory Demand and Supply Planner to join us in our head office based in Macquarie Park. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, you will manage all inventory activities to enable BD to meet business and customer objectives.
Establish targets for KPIs to track performance and take actions to improve
Develop short and long term demand forecasts to assist business management
Execute forecast plans and generate supply orders with international suppliers, following through to order creation & order fulfilment for ANZ markets
Review historical demand trend and demand drivers to prepare statistical forecast modules.
Develop and publish key forecast accuracy metrics, analyse data to identify potential sources of forecast error and develop action plans to improve performance
Work with Product Managers to manage combined forecast for a product category, ensuring overall forecast is in line with company target.
Work cross-functionally to improve supply chain performance
Manage inventory level to meet budget and work to reduce inventory variances
Attend and contribute to monthly business review meetings and S&OP on demand and supply performance and all matters relating to the product.
Manage master data settings for ERP system to plan and comply with our supply strategy
Manage supply process
Proven inventory planning experience
Strong analytical and decision making skills
Ability to build and develop strong relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally, and to lead cross-functional groups to deliver superior customer service
Strong organisational and planning skills including the ability to prioritise and organise work flow
Extremely self-motivated, independent and resilient
A background in science will be advantageous
