As a senior leader within the team and reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Telco Authority business. You will provide strategic advice to support their critical project delivery, ensuring the projects financial performance is optimum to ultimately help deliver a new radio network for Emergency Services Departments within NSW.

Managing controls surrounding financial processes to ensure maximum compliance with government policies and accounting standards and practice
Developing the tools, guides and other support materials to help educate and inform key stakeholders about critical financial and commercial requirements
Developing and presenting regular reports and updates to a wide audience tailoring these for an Executive audience
Build and manage budget forecast with internal and external stakeholders
With your experience overseeing the financial performance across large scale, high stakes projects, you will have a natural ability to engage with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Additional skills that you will bring to this role include:
Solid foundation of commercial and accounting knowledge and proven experience in applying this across a large, complex project
Ability to provide leadership to others and experience managing small teams
Minimum of a Degree Qualification in Accounting with CPA/CA qualifications highly advantageous
A key understanding of financial compliance and ability to educate others on their requirements to adhere to these standards
