About the role: We are seeking a highly efficient customer service driven team member responsible for fulfilling orders relating to the supply of blood and blood components in accordance with standard procedures. Experience in the health care industry is not a necessity as we offer comprehensive training, a thorough induction program, and on the job coaching and guidance from senior team members.
Working as part of a close knit team on a 24/7 rotating roster, your challenge is to ensure the sufficient and timely distribution of safe blood and blood products while maintaining a commitment to all quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Variable shift times include: Monday to Sunday 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm or 11pm – 7am. Penalty rates will apply to after hours and weekend shifts.
You will have: • Operational knowledge and experience of warehouse and distribution processes and principles • Relevant industry experience in a supply chain, warehouse or distribution environment • The ability to undertake routine work and work to standard operating procedures • Outstanding teamwork skills to support the achievement of shared goals • The ability to participate in a flexible roster working variable shifts, from Monday to Sunday; morning, afternoon and overnight shifts • A forklift license (desirable) although not essential
You will also be: • Great with detail and problem solving • Competent with using computer applications including Microsoft office suite • Able to undertake and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently • Excellent at adapting to pressure and change within a regulated environment • Well-developed in communication and interpersonal skills
